Join The Dance Movement's Director Rachel Palmer in this new class, which is being run as part of Active Surrey's 'Get Active 50+' Project, at the Shawfield Centre in Ash.

A new dance and strengthening class for 65+

Why is Rachel running these classes?
Rachel is passionate about meeting new people and helping them feel good about themselves.  Having worked in dance for 16 years she knows all about the positive benefits dancing has on both the physical and mental well-being of people. 

Through these classes you will take part in exercises with weights to help you build strength & improve your balance.  You will also have the opportunity to be creative and social through dancing.

Rachel is running a FREE Taster Session, so why not come down and meet her and give it a go.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Rachel has qualified as one of Active Surrey's Otago instructors, her new class will feature the Otago Strength & Balance Programme which has been clinically proven to increase mobility, muscle mass and confidence in participants.

Regular Classes will run at Shawfield Centre every Tuesday 11am - 12pm between 3 October - 21st November
(A total of 8 sessions).
The weekly cost is £4 p/week and can be paid at the beginning of each session.
