Around 40 people took part in our danceathon in aid of Sport Relief on Saturday as part of Farnham Maltings youth arts festival Spark.
Participants experienced a number of different dance styles including street dance, Polynesian dance, Bollywood and because it was the weekend of the six nations rugby - the haka. The danceathon concluded with everybody joining in a ceilidh.
Rachel Palmer, programme director at The Dance Movement said: “We had such fun. It was great to see so many people dancing and being active. Dance appeals to all age groups and it was wonderful to see all generations enjoying the chance to do something together.”
